Program & Curriculum Design
Janerick Media designs and facilitates leadership development programs, fellowships, and learning experiences for mission-driven organizations. This work is grounded in more than a decade directing a national racial justice capacity building program and designing learning infrastructure for a network of advocates across the country.
Gotham Food Pantry
Food Rescue Fellowship
Gotham Food Pantry came to Janerick Media looking for someone to facilitate an existing curriculum. What they got was a complete reimagining of how that program could work.
Over three months, Janerick Holmes redesigned GFP's Food Rescue Handbook into a six-session online leadership Fellowship and community of practice for NYC food rescue organizers, shifting the model from an in-person training to a live, facilitated program built for busy community leaders with competing schedules.
The Fellowship is in active development for 2026. Janerick leads all aspects of design and delivery, including instructional design, session flow production, facilitator preparation, faculty coaching, and live facilitation across the full program.
Pando 2026
Designed and facilitated a plenary session for nearly 190 pro bono leaders from legal services organizations and law firms across the country at the 2026 Pando Pro Bono Leadership Summit in Chicago.
The session guided participants through the four levels of structural racialization, grounding the work in both established racial justice frameworks and original research into how BIPOC communities are erased from the historical record, including paranormal and folk narratives. Sustaining this work requires advocates to see clearly the coordinated policy, narrative, and legal forces designed to roll it back.
